History:

Part of 5th Corps of Army B&H

1st Bihac Infantry Brigade

First formed as First Bihac Infantry Brigade on 19 July 1992 in village Kamenica near Bihac from following units:

Detachment of Territorial Defense Ljutoc with companies from Orasac, Cukova, Kulen-Vakuf and Ripac with 500 to 600 soliders

Detachment of TD Center - Bihac

Detachment of TD Baksis - Bihac

Mortar platoon from Municipal Headquarters of Territorial Defense Bihac

Parts of reconnaissance platoon from Municipal Headquarters of TD Bihac

501st brigade suffered 307 killed, 1763 wounded and 69 missing or captured soldiers and officers.
