311th Infantry Brigade

Brigade was based in "Posavski borci" barracks in Bosanski Samac.

Brigade was permanently disbanded on 1st March 1999 after confirmed indications that there was connections of brigade with attempt of contraband of arms in two trucks, which have been stopped on February 24th in the SFOR's check-point near Brcko city on 24th February 1999.

At around 03,30h of 1st March, brigades entire armament and munitions confiscated by Nordic-Polish brigade of the SFOR and was taken from "Posavski borci" barracks in Bosanski Samac and from brigades warehouses in Hasic and Obudovac to one of the SFOR bases at Tuzla by decisions of SFOR North multinational division commander US general Kevin Barns. The report about confiscated arms says that the SFOR was confiscated SA-7, anti-tank arms (Red Arrow), mortars, light grenades for mortars and grenades of smaller caliber.

Its commander Major Milan Josic (Jošić) was found directly involved in contraband of arms.
