Shotdown codes (šifre)

Each report of the shotdown received a code (A-avion/aircraft, H-helicopter etc. and ordinal number) and that code was used in further discussion. So when talking about certain shot down, we are talking about 'aircraft A-XX', and not that 'Galeb or Jastreb' which was, you know, shot down somewhere around Novska, September 24th or 25th or was it October or was it Gradiška...' Ordinal number next to a code doesn't necessarily means sequence of shot downs neither it means total number of aircraft's shot down. If for shooting down of some aircraft at the beginning of the conflict was found out much later he would get next code in line (ex. A-91) despite the fact it should be put near beginning (ex. right after A-14). Also if later it would turn out that two claims relate to same aircraft, codes would be combined (ex. A-17/24).
