Variants

Standard IFV, this is a improved version of the M80.  It is slightly heavier and wider and includes a number of minor improvements.  As of 1991 about 600 of these vehicles were built but since the recent war production has ceased.

M80A LT Anti-tank New turret, from M-83, with six 9M114 Maljutka (AT-3 Sagger) ATGW in ready-to-launch position. 7.62mm machine gun is mounted between the missiles.
M80A Sn Ambulance Has no turret.  There is a single oblong hatch in the roof and a single rear door.  The crew consists of a driver and 3 medics.  The vehicle can carry 4 stretcher patients or 8 seated patients.
