History
Third brigade of land army was formed from March to June 2007 from parts of 211th Armored Brigade, 21st Reconnaissance Units Training Center, 4th, 125th and 549th Motorized Brigade, 9th Infantry, 52nd Mixed Artillery and 52nd Artillery-Rocket Brigade of Air Defense, 352nd Engineer Regiment, 201st Logistics base and Military Medical Center.
