7th Aviation Corps was formed in 1953 by order of VKOS no. 280 from 13 February 1953. In Corps composition entered 29, 39. and 44. Aviation Division, 103. Regiment of Reconnaissance Aviation and 48th Aviation Zone, which had five airbases of first and second class.
