20th Tank Division

of Yugoslav People's Army

History

Formed in 1950 from 4th Mechanized Corps. Mostly equipped from US aid which started to arrive after Tito-Stalin breakup, M4 Sherman with 76mm gun, M18 Hellcat, M36 Jackson, M7 Priest and later M47 Patton. Renamed to 7th Tank Division located in Sisak.
