Janko Bobetko

( 1919 - 2003 )

Biography

Janko Bobetko was born on 10 January 1919 in Crnci near Petrinja, Croatia at time part of Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians. After gymnasium in Sisak, he studied at Veterinarian faculty in Zagreb. Bobetko become member of Communistt Party of Yugoslavia in 1938. He participated during 1941 in preparation for uprising in his region.

After the war he completed YPA Military Academy.
