Xhavit Demiqi (Đavit Demiči - Đoni)

Biography:
Born on Kosovo and escaped to Croatia to avoid draft for Yugoslav People's Army. Volunteered for Croatian Army in 1991 until 1994 when all soldiers without Croatian citizenships have been demobilized.
He lives with Andrea Živković and they have two children, daughter Margareta and son Adrijan but couldn't marry yet because Xhavit doesn't have documents.
Xhavit case to media attention by Istraga journalists, because after 16 years of living in Croatia his applications for citizenship have been rejected and is facing deportation to Serbia!
To make things even more absurd, house Demiqi lives in Petrinja use to belong to Serbian solider Ranko Lončarević who sold it to APN, Croatian state agency which granted permission to Demiqi to live there and recently in post Croatian veteran ID card arrived which Demiqi and his family thought it would solve there problems until they read name on the card - Ranko Lončarević!
After public pressure Xhavit Demiqi was finally given Croatian citizenship.
