Stjepan Filipovic (1916 - 1942)

Filipovic belongs to Bunjevcima Krmpocanima, and have arrived from Bosnia at the beginning of 17 century to Krmpote, Pazariste and other parts of Lika where they become known as good officers and many received high ranks and decorations in Habsburg amry.

In 1785 2nd Lieutenant Ilija Filipovic received title 'von Philippsberg' or Pilsberški his family produced three vice-marshals Nikola, Franjo and Josip.
