Biography:

Born in 1925 in Glavnia near Imotski. Joined Tito's partisans in 1941. Member of Communist youth since 1941 and Communist Party since 1943.

Graduated at Military academy and War school of Yugoslav People's Army and US Army Command and General Staff College.
