Biography
Born in Ljubljana on 9 March 1896. Graduated from Naval academy in Pula in 1915.
Joined Yugoslav navy in November 1918.
As commander of Northern naval sector stopped attempt of Petar Kvaternik to take power in Crikvenica.
Before retreating Pleiweiss in order to prevent capture carried out destruction of all military installations, blowing up staff building and sinking ships in Klimno harbor on Krk islands - seven civilian merchants ships, two fuel ships, tub boat Silni and several others.
