Damir Tomljanovic - Gavran (Raven)

( 1968 - 1994 )

Biography:

Born on 18 April 1968 in Senj, father Ivan. He spent his childhood in Veljun near Brinj and Senj. Went to school in Senj and Zagreb.

Joined Special Tasks unit of Ministry of Interior in Rakitje near Zagreba and advance to battalion commander in Croatian 1st Guard Brigade Tigers.

Damir Tomljanovic was killed on 17 February 1994 near Tulove grede on Velebit mountain.

26 July 1994 in Šepurine near Zadar, president Franjo Tuđman opened Training Center for Guard Airborne Infantry 'Pukovnik Damir Tomljanović Gavran'.
