Italian army divisions

in Yugoslavia during WW2

History

During WW2, Italy had large number of divisions serving occupation duties in Yugoslavia. Most of divisions were disarmed after capitulation of Italy by both German, Croatian and Yugoslav partisan forces which was vital turning point for communist resistance which besides large quantities of weapons also managed to raise several units from former Italian soldiers with Taurinense division joining partisans as complete formation.
