Petar Erdeljac

Biography
Born in Prilisce near Karlovac on 13 May 1903. Before the war he was factory worker in Canada and there he joined Communist Party of Canada. Participated in Spanish Civil war in International Brigade.
In 1942 as part of British Fungus Mission, together with another Croatian Canadian émigré Pavle Pavlic and SOE liaison officer Alexander Simitch Stevens, he parachuted on 20 April 1943 into Sisane Polje near Bela Kapela in Lika from Liberator bomber which took off from Derna.
Erdeljac joined Yugoslav partisans on 21 April 1943. Left army after the war.
