Biography

Đorđe Vujnović was born in Serbian-American community in Pittsburgh. His father immigrated from Austro-Hungary in 1912. Vujnovich graduated in 1934, lacking money for medical school in the United States, his parents suggested he go to study in Yugoslavia at University of Belgrade.

There he meet his future wife Mirjana Lazić.
