Description
More accurately minimod since like in the movie and comic there is little to do in this mod beside slaughter dozens and hundreds of Persian soldiers which constantly spawn - depending on your PC power - even on AMD 3200 with 1 Gb RAM any battle size bigger then 30 slows down frame rate to a snail pace but if you have beast of PC you can try playing with battle size up to 1000!
Your group of Spartans and Greeks start in the pass, there is no point to advance too much from the pass since new groups of Persians constantly spawn and you might find yourself alone once all your soldiers get killed. New Greeks and Spartans also spawn plus you regain your health over time or this minimod would have very very short playing time. After death you also can respawn and get back in to battle.
Since there is no need for inventory, I key is used to issue battlefield commands to your Spartans to form formation or to your Greeks to fall back or charge. Another feature is that is possible to search corpses for weapons and armor, not much use right now but hopefully there will be something nice in future versions.
Greek and Spartans, yourself included have large advantage over Persian soldiers so that is possibly to play like killing machine from movie or comic book. Probably most annoying thing are Rhinos which keep coming but if you get your riding skill up to 4 you can ride this slow but almost invulnerable beast which has armor and charge at 100 (warhorses have armor at around 25 and charge 30).
