The Illyrian Provinces

The Illyrian Provinces were divided into 6 civilian and one military province. Capital city was Ljubljana. The Governor of these provinces was General August Marmont. The provinces were:
I. Carinthia (Koroška)
- Capital: Lienz
II. Istria (Istra)
- Capital: Trieste
- Centers of districts: Gorica, Koper, Rovinj
III. Carniolla (Kranjska)
- Capital: Villach
- Centers of districts: Kranj, Novo Mesto, Postojna
IV. Civil Croatia (Civilna Hrvatska)
- Capital: Karlovac
- Centers of district: Rijeka
V. Military Croatia (Vojna Hrvatska)
- Centre of district: Senj
VI. Dalmatia (Dalmacija)
- Capital: Zadar
- Centers of districts: Makarska, Split, Šibenik
VII. Dubrovnik and Kotor
- Capital: Dubrovnik
- Centre of district: Kotor
