Bulgaria

Kingdom of Bulgaria signed Tripartite pact on 1 March 1941 but refused to send troops to Soviet Union and was given occupation tasks in Serbia out of which south-east part together with most of Macedonia and small part of Greece was annexed by Bulgaria.

Bulgaria declared war on Germany 8 September 1944 after which occupation units mostly withdrew (some surrendered to Germans while other put stiffed resistance) from Yugoslavia back to Bulgaria. New reorganized Bulgarian People's army advanced into Yugoslavia as part of Soviet 3rd Ukrainian Front.
