History
Quick victory in April war made German army relaxed when it come to occupation of Yugoslavia, with most German troops leaving to take part in operation Barbarossa, attack on Soviet Union, few second line divisions left were to thinly stretched to react effectively to uprising forcing German High Command to constantly divert new divisions to contain resistance which turned into massive guerrilla war.
