History
334th Fusilier and 222nd Artillery Regiment was part of Risan garrison, commanded by captain Brandstadter and Ledenice garrison during retreat of the 21st Mountain Corps. It was faced by Yugoslav Partisans Boka Kotorska brigade which was reinforced by British Finney Force (part of Floydforce) made of 2111 Field Battery (8 x 25pdr guns) and C Troop of the 43 Commando later reinforced by troop of 75mm guns of Raiding Support Regiment an 3-inch Mortars of the Heavy Weapon Troops. At Ledenice, German defenses used old Austro-Hungarian forts which were immune to attacks from lightly armed Partisans or HE shells from 25pdr guns and had to be reduced one by one using armor piercing rounds over several days resulting in 43 killed, over 70 wounded of which 6 died later and 197 prisoners. Once it become clear that breakthrough towards Trebinje was impossible Risan was abandoned.

363rd Regiment was given a task of closing route Crvene Stijene Sokolac, during 14/15 March it suffered 11 killed and 30 wounded. Regiment was cut off and surrounded on Romanija mountain between 28 March and but rescued by attack of 7th SS Division.
