Operation BERGRUTSCH

Operation Landslide

History

German anti-partisan operation carried out by 15th Mountain Corps from 1944 against Yugoslav partisan 19th Dalmatian Division in Bukovica and eastern part of Velebit mountain range.

After learning about German plan, 8th Corps ordered 9th and 20th Dalmatian division to take advantage of weakened garrisons in Cetina valley and road to Bosansko Grahovo.
