Operation PRIEN

History

German anti-partisan operation carried out by German 188th Division from 8th to 11th August 1944 in northern Istria to a river line Mirna-Planik-Jurdani against 1st Istrian Brigade 'Vladimir Gortan'.

Prior to the operation Germans brought new units to Istria expecting possible Allied landing.
