Operation SAVA

History

Begun on 15 March 1945 after completion of Operation WEGWEISER with goal of clearing partisans from Semberija region. 27th Regiment for 13th SS Division crossed Sava river at Srijemska Raca and captured Bijeljina on 17th March around noon.
