Operation SCHLAGETER

History

Attack by 1st and 3rd Battalions of 370th Regiment on Yugoslav Partisans (NOVJ) position at Lise near Å iroki Brijeg in Herzegovina in the morning of 23rd January 1945. Germans took 27 prisoner, 4 heavy machine-guns, 12 light machine-guns, 2 mortars, 1 anti-tank rifle, 32 rifles and significant amount of munitions. Also two Partisan battalion commanders were killed.
