Tuzla operation
History
In September 1943 most German forces were redirected towards Adriatic coast to disarm Italian army and secure the coastline from possible Allied landings. This weakened garrisons in the interior and Tito issued directive to 1st Bosnian Corps to see if Tuzla can be captured without too much losses.
