Intro

German withdrawal from Mljet and Korčula islands and western part of Plješac peninsula.

History

118th Jager Division had two battalions from the 750th Regiment on Korčula, two companies on Mljet, rest of 750th Regiment was on Pelješac peninsula together with two batteries from 668th Naval Artillery Battalion.

Together with Operation EISBÄR Germans managed to evacuate to mainland 3997 soldiers, 135 Italian POW, 351 horses, 107 mules, 45 various artillery pieces 19 motor vehicles, 14 motorcycles. German navy lost 5 landing and 2 assault boats with same number damaged with 11 killed, 14 wounded and 1 missing sailor. During these two operations 118th Division lost 1141 killed or captured soldiers.
