68-й стрелковый корпус

History

Corps took part in Belgrade offensive operation after which together with Yugoslav Partisans 1st Proletarian Corps continued offensive operations in Syrmia where Germans constructed several defensive lines which become known as Syrmian front.

With breakthrough achieved in Batina operation Corps was replaced by Bulgarian divisions and sent to rest and refit in order to join battles in southern Hungary.
