History

Formed on 17 January 1944 at Jabučaj near Sremska Rača from 2nd Battalion and one company from 3rd Battalion of the 1st Syrmian partisan detachment and one battalion of the 2nd Syrmian partisan detachment. On the day of the forming brigade had 403 fighters armed with 340 rifles, 6 submachine guns, 20 pistols, 12 light machine guns, 1 machine gun, 150 hand grandees and around 8000 rounds of ammo.
