1st Shumadia partisan detachment

(Prvi Šumadijski NOP odred)

Formed on 1 July 1941 near village of Gornja Trešnjevica, Aranđelovac. Fought in area of Aranđelovac-Topola-Rudnik-Ljig. In November moved to Sandžak were it was disbanded on 22 December 1941 and transferred personnel to 1st Proletarian Brigade. Again formed in June 1942 and finally disbanded in October 1944 transferring personnel to KNOJ units.
