11th Krajina Division

(Jedanaesta krajiška divizija)

History

Formed on 1 June 1943 from 2nd, 5th and 12th Krajina Brigade and Banja Luka partisan detachment. Fought in Central and Eastern Bosnia, participated in liberation of Serbia and Syrmia front. At the end of the war disarmed German 41st Division and German formations around Celje.
