13th (Primorsko-goranska) Assault Division
(Trinaesta primorsko-goranska udarna divizija)
History
Yugoslav Partisan Thirteen Division was formed in April 1943 from 6th and 14th Brigades. Operated in Gorski Kotar, Lika and Croatian Littoral.
On 31 May 1943 division had 1883 men and 62 women in ranks out of which 1461 and 50 were present in units armed with:
- 1053 Mauser rifles
- 163 Italian rifles
- 23 other rifles
- 10 submachine-guns
- 149 pistols
- 65 light machine-guns
- 17 machine-guns
- 7 light mortars
- 2 heavy mortars
- 1 mountain gun 65mm
- 1 anti-tank guns 37mm
- 1 raiding horses
- 64 draught horses
- 39 horses for field kitchen
On 12 October 1943 division had 5668 soldiers out of which 5251 present in units armed with:
- 3314 rifles
- 233 pistols
- 43 light machine-guns
- 22 machine-guns
- 8 anti-tank guns
- 15 mortars
- 8 guns
- 18 raiding horses
- 67 draught horses
- 210 pack horses
