29th Herzegovina Division

(Dvadesetdeveta hercegovačka divizija)

Organization

29th Division was formed by order of Supreme Headquarters from 16 November 1943 and it was completed by 22 November.

On the day of the forming division had 1567 fighters plus another 600 fighter available in Partisans detachments across Herzegovina. By the end of 1944 division had around 7500 fighters.
