Coastal platoon

Formed in December 1942 in Podgora as first partisan unit on sea. Maintained connection to Hvar island and attacked Italian motor sailing ships along Makarska coast. In January 1943 becomes part of First Naval detachment until April. Pionir was first armed ship which on January 1st 1943 captured motor sailing boat Evropa which armed and renamed Partizan, in the next months, both armed boats attacked the coastal shipping until Italians aircrafts put them out of action. September 1943 platoon served as base for forming Coastal fleet.
