Operation HACKFLEISCH

History

Anti-partisan operation direct at triangle Kladanj - Vlasenica - Sokoloac - Olovo. 7th SS together with I./28 and II./27. from 13th SS Division begun there advance on 3rd August from Vares, Ribinica and Kladanj. 3rd Corps of NOVJ retreated towards Srebrenica while 12th Corps towards Foca and there again unsuccessfully attempted to cross Drina river. Although encirclement was successful NOVJ units managed to slip out.
