Karlovac operation

History
Operation from 30 April to 7 May 1945 during which Karlovac Division Group (3rd, 4th Krajina, 10th Krajina and 34th Croatian divisions of Yugoslav army) allegedly destroyed (more probably axis forces managed to withdraw to Slovenia towards Austria where they finally surrendered) in fighting's were the German 104th Jäger Division, 2nd and 4th Police Regiment, 96th Pioneer Regiment and smaller groups of Ustasha, and liberated Karlovac with surrounding areas.
A Battalion of Jäger Regiment 20 was fighting rear guard actions to permit an orderly withdrawal of the German troops and suffered very few (if any) casualties during that operation.
