Operation PANTHER

History

Aimed at the 4th Corps of Yugoslav Partisans on Kordun and Banija because of the threat it represented to communications between Sava valley and Adriatic sea.

Operations on Kordun started on 6th and lasted until 14th December.

The German attack on Banija started on 12th December. 373rd Division attacked from the south and east, 371st from west and from Sava river valley Cossack division.
