Brigade had 2 killed and 8 wounded of which 6 remains with Brigade since they had light wounds.
Arrival of Brigade on Žumberak and first fighting's at Sv. Jana returned confidence to the people lost after last offensive when all Partisan forces retreated from the area and creation of Ustasha strongholds along the road Kostanjevac-Stojdraga. Holding this road meant that Partisan movement between Žumberak in Croatia and Bela Krajina in Slovenia was very difficult. Decision of HQ of 2. Operative Zone that on 19/20 November Brigade should attack both Novo Selo and Stojdraga was daring. Without any reconnaissance info Brigade attacked well fortified Ustasha strongholds and suffered high losses - 13 dead and 32 wounded. After attack on Novo Selo and Stojdraga Brigade arrived in SoÅ¡ice. After few days of rest and reorganization of units it was agreed with General Staff of Partisan detachments of Slovenia (Glavno poveljstvo partizanskih Äeta Slovenije) to attack Suhor, HQ of White Guard (Bela Garda) for Bela krajina and Italian stronghold with about 180 soldiers. Attacked on Suhor started in night 26/27 November and ended in the morning. Units of Slovenian brigade 'Ivan Cankar' secured from directions Novo Mesto, SemiÄ and ÄŒrnomelj. Two day fighting's in Suhor and around it had big impact in Bela krajina and in municipality of Radatović. White Guard was completely destroyed in Bela krajina together with its commander Vasiljević, captain of the former Royal Yugoslav Army, who was sent to Slovenia by Draža Mihajlović. In Suhor itself 40 enemy soldiers and officers were killed, HQ of White Guard for Bela krajina destroyed and 102 enemy soldiers were captured. In fighting's around Suhor enemy lost some 59 soldiers while Partisans had only 2 dead and 11 wounded.
Because of this success Italians abandoned three strongholds in Radatović municipality. Then Radatović, Sošice, Kalje and part of municipality of Sv. Jana become liberated partisan area.
After realizing that Brigade left Žumberak and went to Slovenia, Ustashe moved into villages of Kordiće and VisoÄe close to SoÅ¡ice.
