10th 'Zagreb' Corps of NOVJ

History
Tenth corps was formed on 19 January 1944 with 32nd Zagorje and 33rd Croatian divisions and Western Group of Partisan detachments and 3rd Sabotage battalion. Fought in Hrvatsko zagorje, Moslavina and Podravina. In final operations of Yugoslav army participated in liberation of Moslavina, Bilo-gora, Hrvatsko zagorje, Slavonska Požega, Virovitica, Bjelovar and Križevci.
From 19 January 1944 until 8th May 1945 units of 10th Corps suffered 1686 killed, 6100 wounded, 320 out of action, 247 captured and 1315 missing officers and soldiers. Most of the missing were mobilized during '44 and deserted during winter 1944/45 due to poor conditions, lack of food, lack of winter clothing and high casualties suffered during the recent fighting's.
